Dalian University of Technology aimed to procure custom denim bags that would serve multiple purposes: as high-quality gifts for special events, practical items for students and staff, and merchandise to reinforce the university’s brand image. The primary objective was to ensure these bags reflected the institution’s commitment to quality and attention to detail. They sought a manufacturing partner capable of handling intricate design specifications, utilizing specific materials, and maintaining strict quality control to ensure the final product aligned perfectly with their distinguished identity. This project was crucial for maintaining a consistent and professional aesthetic across all university-branded items, strengthening community engagement and pride.

The Dalian University of Technology project presented several detailed requirements that demanded high precision and meticulous execution. Key challenges included: 1. Material Specificity: Sourcing and processing black denim of approximately 330g, alongside compounding certain sections with 600D Oxford cloth for enhanced durability and structure. 2. Intricate Design Elements: Incorporating a custom woven label, precisely sized outer and inner pockets (14*16cm and 20*20cm respectively), and attaching two steel rivets to the outer pocket. 3. Specialized Stitching: Requiring the use of thick thread for robust construction, implementing double stitching on the bag bottom and outer pocket opening, and adding small fabric loops (1cm wide, 5cm long) with bartacks at the bag opening, akin to denim apparel finishes. 4. Exact Dimensions and Craftsmanship: Ensuring all dimensions (33*38cm main body, 3cm wide x 30cm high handles) were precise, and maintaining consistent, high-quality sewing to prevent deformation or misalignment. 5. Specific Packaging: Each batch of bags needed to be carefully bundled and packed into woven bags for secure transit.

The sewing center, staffed by over 300 highly qualified professionals, meticulously executed the specialized stitching, using thick threads and advanced techniques to ensure the structural integrity and aesthetic perfection of each bag. This included precise double stitching on critical areas and careful bartack application for the fabric loops, meeting the high standards akin to denim apparel. Our integrated approach and experienced workforce allowed us to smoothly navigate the fabrication and assembly, ensuring all components were seamlessly integrated. We also offered flexible packaging solutions, bundling the finished bags into woven sacks as per client specifications.
