Guangzhou United International School (GUIS) is a reputable institution dedicated to providing high-quality education for expatriate children. For their annual school event, GUIS aimed to create a memorable and cohesive experience for attendees, requiring custom-branded merchandise that reflected the school’s identity with precision and quality. The challenge lay in sourcing a manufacturing partner capable of meeting their specific design requirements, including strict color matching to their theme, and delivering a large volume of diverse products within a very limited timeframe for their important event.

Guangzhou United International School’s primary goal was to secure a supplier who could produce high-quality, custom-designed promotional products for their annual event. Key objectives included strict adherence to the school’s theme colors, precise execution of design details on both canvas bags and apparel, and an unwavering commitment to a tight 10-day production and delivery schedule. The successful execution of these custom items was crucial for enhancing the event experience and reinforcing the school’s brand image among students, parents, and faculty.

The project presented several significant challenges. Firstly, the demand for exact color matching to the school’s theme required precise material sourcing and printing calibration. Secondly, the extremely short 10-day delivery timeline for a large and diverse order—1100 canvas bags and over 40,000 sets of T-shirts and arm sleeves—put immense pressure on production efficiency. Furthermore, maintaining consistent quality across all products, from fabric feel to print durability and precise sewing for both bags and apparel, added layers of complexity, requiring stringent quality control at every stage to prevent deformation or misalignment.

Gahumi addressed these challenges with a multi-faceted approach. To meet the color matching requirement, our expert team meticulously sourced appropriate fabrics and utilized advanced printing techniques, conducting rapid color tests and adjustments. Our integrated manufacturing facilities, including raw material, sewing, and full-auto printing centers, enabled streamlined production and rapid turnaround times. We implemented an accelerated production plan, dedicating specific lines and shifts to the GUIS order to ensure continuous progress. To handle the high volume and tight deadline, our project management team worked closely with the client, providing transparent updates and proactively identifying potential bottlenecks. Quality control was rigorous, with in-process inspections for color accuracy, print quality, and precise stitching for all 40,000+ apparel items and 1100 bags. This meticulous oversight ensured that every item met the school’s high standards and was ready for the event.
